It helps maintain optimal humidity by producing a fine mist at programmed intervals, the duration and frequency of which can be easily adjusted according to the type of plants or animals kept. Frequent misting helps stimulate breeding and is essential for maintaining live tropical plants, such as bromeliads, orchids, mosses, etc.
The system can be programmed to produce mist several times within a 24-hour cycle, for periods ranging from 2 seconds to 2 minutes. The large 8 L (2 US gal) reservoir allows for continuous operation for several days without needing to be refilled (ideal for vacations), and refilling is simple: no need to uninstall the entire system.
