Fluval SK400 Surface Skimmer

The SK400 surface skimmer removes unwanted film from the water's surface to help improve oxygenation and light penetration for a clean and healthy aquarium. Over time, a film can develop on the surface from oils from skin, household dust, cooking smoke, and fats in fish food, among other things. This film is not only visually unappealing, but it also reduces dissolved oxygen (required by fish to breathe) and decreases light levels (necessary for the growth of live plants).
