The Exo Terra UVB150 for reptiles has a very high UVB output similar to desert sunlight. These areas receive more direct sunlight; therefore, desert-dwelling reptiles are exposed to more UV radiation than any other reptile species.

The bulb can also be used in terrariums with tight mesh covers to ensure sufficient UVB penetration. Tight mesh covers can filter up to 50% of UVB rays. The high vitamin D3 output ensures its photosynthesis to aid in calcium absorption and prevent metabolic diseases.
