The Exo Terra Glow Light Clamp Lamp with porcelain socket allows heat and light sources to be placed where desired. It is durable and made from a metal reflector, a heat-resistant ceramic socket, and a spring clip with a swivel head.
It can be easily switched on and off thanks to its switch placed on a very long power cord. The inside of the reflector is coated with a luminous and reflective coating that continues to glow long after the lamp has been switched off.
This allows diurnal reptiles and amphibians to retreat into their dens or hide without any stress. Moonlight allows nocturnal reptiles and amphibians to see well without disturbing their night cycle.
It also allows you to monitor your reptile at night without turning on the room light, which could cause stress and disorientation.
The coating reflects lost light rays, stores them during the day, and slowly releases them at night, making this lighting fixture more energy-efficient than conventional lighting fixtures. There is no need to use an additional night bulb, unless it is used as a heat source.
One or more Exo Terra Glow Lights can be installed on the terrarium frame or aquarium and directed inwards using the swivel-head spring clip, or on a mesh cover above the desired location.
