The Exo Terra Glow Light Clamp Lamp with porcelain socket allows heat and light sources to be placed in the desired location. Sturdy, it is made from a metal reflector, a heat-resistant ceramic socket, and a swivel-head spring clamp.
It can be easily switched on and off thanks to its switch placed on a very long power cord. The inside of the reflector is coated with a luminous and reflective coating that continues to glow long after the lamp has been turned off.
This allows diurnal reptiles and amphibians to retreat to their dens or hide without any stress. A lunar light allows nocturnal reptiles and amphibians to see well without disturbing their night cycle.
It also allows you to monitor your reptile at night without turning on the room light, which could cause stress and disorientation.
The coating reflects light rays that would have been lost, stores them during the day, and slowly releases them during the night, making this lighting fixture more energy-efficient than conventional lighting fixtures. There is no need to use an additional night bulb, unless it is used as a heat source.
One or more Exo Terra Glow Lights can be mounted on the terrarium frame or aquarium and directed inwards thanks to the swivel-head spring clamp or on a mesh lid above the desired location.
