How does it work?
Once applied to the back of the neck, Advantage® II is not absorbed by the skin. It spreads in a thin layer and binds to the sebum on your pet's skin. On contact with treated skin and coat, adult fleas become paralyzed and die.
Advantage® II not only eliminates adult fleas on contact, but thanks to the pyriproxyfen (an insect growth regulator) it contains, which distributes throughout the house on hairs and dander shed by the cat, it also prevents flea eggs and larvae from developing into the next stage and effectively kills them.
How to apply it to your cat
Advantage® II comes in a pre-measured applicator tube tailored to your cat's weight. It spreads easily on the skin to provide full-body flea protection on contact.
