The Fluval C3 Power Filter is designed to provide superior water quality, offering comprehensive 5-stage filtration for exceptional results. This filter maximizes filtration surface area and ensures optimal contact time at each stage of the process.

The first two mechanical filtration stages utilize a thick foam/polyester layer that traps fine and large debris and can be easily removed for cleaning. Then, activated carbon, placed in an easy-to-handle removable basket, performs complete chemical filtration, effectively removing toxins.

During the final two stages, the Bio-Screen media, a very large surface where beneficial bacteria can develop, performs biological filtration; this media also prevents debris from entering the trickle chamber filled with C-Nodes, which promote rapid and powerful nitrification.

This power filter also includes a patented re-filtration system that allows the water outflow to be reduced, providing a water flow suitable for plants and delicate fish. Furthermore, as the water circulates at a moderate speed, it remains in the filter longer, making the water even cleaner.

The filter's fully modular design allows you to address each stage independently; this means you can make changes at different times to maintain constant biological activity. This helps you avoid creating a stressful environment while ensuring your aquarium water remains crystal clear.

The Fluval C3 Power Filter includes foam/polyester, activated carbon, C-Nodes, and a Bio-Screen pad.

This filter is suitable for freshwater or saltwater aquariums with a capacity of 75 to 190 L (20-50 US gal). The Fluval C-Series power filter range includes models C2, C3, and C4.
