The Living World Pedi-Perch is a non-toxic, self-grooming cement perch for birds that helps trim their claws and keep them flat and well-groomed. The multi-grip wavy surface promotes foot circulation and helps prevent arthritis and atrophy.
In addition, this perch helps clean and groom the birds' beaks. Attach the Pedi-Perch to the cage door, provided it is not the highest perch available to the bird.
Always have a variety of perches in the cage to prevent foot problems like bumblefoot. Regularly monitor the bird's foot health.
To clean, scrub the Pedi-Perch under water with soap. Ensure it is completely dry before returning it to the cage.
Recommended for cockatiels and lovebirds.
Note: Birds' feet should wrap ⅔ around the perch and should not touch or overlap.
